Innovative Gender as a New Source of Progress Conference - 4-5 July 2016
Call for Papers
Innovative Gender as a New Source of Progress
Conference
Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland
Collegium Maius
4-5 July 2016
We invite academic papers submissions for the InnoGend Conference on the role of gender in the process of
innovation. We believe that gender diversity is not sufficiently exploited in the context of innovativeness. Insufficient
use of gender-differentiated innovativeness hampers economic and social progress by limiting the pool of potential
talents. Application of innovative gender concept in economic and social policy is a step towards innovation-based
growth.
The conference will be organized around the following themes:
- the contribution of gender to the smart growth based on knowledge and innovations
- the specificity of gender and innovations in shaping better quality of life
- different types of innovations as a new source of progress from the perspective of gender
- the effectiveness of public policies in the context of gender and innovations
